Principal Duties:
✅ Practical knowledge of electrical distribution and protection systems
✅ Proficiency in MV & LV distribution, transformers, motors, VFDs, UPS, and batteries
✅ Strong troubleshooting and schematic reading abilities; familiarity with digital protection relays (MICOM, SEPAM) and switchgear schemes; understanding of hazardous area classification and equipment selection; and condition monitoring of motors and switchgear Plans for ITPM and spare parts management
Instrumentation Reliability Technician Job Description
Experience:
3–5 years in the oil and gas and petrochemical industries (preferred: senior tech position) Education: 3–year diploma in instrumentation/electronics engineering technology
Key duties include:
✅ Practical experience maintaining field instrumentation
✅ Excellent understanding of PLCs, SMART transmitters, control valves, flow meters, and analyzers
✅ Outstanding troubleshooting of JB layouts, loop drawings, and P&IDs
✅ Knowledgeable about the classifications of hazardous areas
✅ Creation of ITPM planning and spare parts management
✅ Preferential SAP knowledge
✅ Excellent Microsoft Office and English communication abilities
