To efficiently oversee our supply chain activities, we are seeking a Procurement Engineer that is extremely well-organized and meticulous. The perfect applicant will be crucial to upholding economical procurement procedures, overseeing vendor relationships, and guaranteeing on-time delivery while abiding by corporate regulations and quality requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Purchase machinery, spare parts, and mechanical components for projects, maintenance, or production.
Achieve favorable conditions, competitive price, and on-time delivery by negotiating with suppliers.
Create and preserve a broad, trustworthy network of suppliers for mechanical parts and equipment.
To guarantee adherence to quality standards and delivery timelines, conduct routine supplier audits and performance evaluations.
Work together with engineering teams to guarantee that the Bill of Materials (BOM) contains precise material specifications.
BOMs should be updated and monitored to reflect changes in design and production needs.
Observe all safety guidelines and requirements when completing your daily tasks.
Perform any extra work or unique assignments as directed by the manager, or perform ad hoc activities as needed.
Use prudence while handling private information, making sure it is safely preserved and distributed only to those who are permitted.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a similar discipline.
demonstrated expertise in supply chain management and procurement [at least three to five years] strong communication and negotiating abilities.
Microsoft Office proficiency and excellent organizing abilities
Outstanding communication abilities [a strong command of English is essential, but proficiency in another language is preferred] Outstanding problem-solving abilities and meticulousness
Capacity to handle several priorities and operate in a fast-paced setting
familiarity with international shipping laws and customs processes
Real Qatar Having a driver’s license will be beneficial.

Position and Reporting Structure

You will be a vital member of our logistics team and report directly to the customer services operations manager as a procurement engineer.
